Venison Stew (Slow Cooker Recipe)

Quick … Easy … Affordable… And If You Have Meat In The Freezer From White Tail Season Then You’re In Luck Meat’s FREE!

This is one of my favorite meals to make in the slow cooker. It takes only 4 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on LOW. I prefer the low setting to ensure tender juicy meat that separates in your mouth. To a amature and even some novices, cooking Venison can be intimidating and the results can turn quickly into a dry hard to chew piece of meat. So, fail safe way to impress friends? Use a slow cooker, follow these directions, have fun, kick back after the slow cooker is loaded and enjoy the fulfilling smells that will travel through your home.

Cook Time: 8 HR Low / 4 HR High

Prep Time: 10 MIN

Ingredients

  • 12 LB’s of Vension Meat cut into Cubes (make sure most silver skin and fat is trimmed).
  • 5 Medium Gold Potatoes cut into chunks.
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 2 Large Carrots
  • 1 Beef Stew Season Packet
  • Salt, Pepper, Garlic (to taste)
